Mai is the main character of a Prequel Manga called "Remix Heart". "Do you despise me, Ragna? Do you hate me? Izanami speaks in a very cold, almost monotone voice, yet still sounds as if she is looking down on everyone and everything. Throughout the series, she constantly mocks Ragna with Saya's voice in a playful manner. Izanami remarks that she can "feel" the strong attachment that the real Saya has towards Ragna. She has little to no concern for her comrades, even to the point of offering Ragna Terumi's head in exchange for joining her side and eventually discarding both Terumi and Relius when they were of no further use to her.
She is obsessed with making the world die and will stop at nothing to accomplish her goal. She is devoid of all emotion and extremely literal-minded, only smiling when it regards her goals and when her opposition is struggling against her. Hades Izanami is a Major Antagonist in the Blazblue series, and is using the body of Ragna's sister, Saya, as a vessel. Line 5: W-What the hell are you babbling about?! I said let go, bitch! The character is foul-mouthed and sometimes breaks the fourth wall. She is also somewhat of a hopeless romantic, having been in short-lived relationships with men and women before, the only one being close to serious was with her superior, Kagura Mutsuki, which, despite them staying friends many years later, ended when he refused to commit. She isn't one to let her fears get the better of her, proffering to punch first and ask questions later. Ever since, one would describe her as a "Loose cannon", she's very extraverted, always speaks her mind even if it lands her in trouble, and fiercely protective of her friends. Despite this, she was able to enroll in the military academy, where she was cold towards everyone, until the day she befriended Noel Vermillion and Tsubaki Yayoi.
